Mission Giving

A commitment to care
S
St Mary's supports local, national and international charities covering issues including justice, development, mental and physical health, the elderly and children.

All of the charities are nominated by members of the congregation.

We currently give approx. £8,000 each year to charities. Our three focus charities receive £1,500 each and other charities are given £500 or £250 each.

On Mission Giving Sundays a speaker from a focus charity gives a presentation at the 11am service. At Evensong a representative from St Mary's addresses the congregation.
