To the register appointed by act of parliament for
registring of Deeds, Wills, Conveyances and so forth
A memorial of an indenture of lease dated [obliterated]
May in the year one thousand seven hundred and fifty seven ....
William Poole of Ballyfinn in the Queens County Esquire of the one part
and William Gilburn of Clonegonne? in the said county woolcomber
of the other part whereby the said William Pole [sic] did demise grant ....
to ffarm let unto the said William Gilbourne all that part of the Lands
of Ballylusk called Number three and four lately in the poss'ion of
Mathew Labrand then in the tenure and occupation of the said
William Gilbourne containing by computation forty acres be the same
more or less situate lying and being in the parish of Clonenagh in the
Queens County aforesaid with the appurtenances with an exception
of mines minerals and other royalties with liberty to sea[r]ch for and
carry away the same with a reservation of all Turff Bogg to hold
to the said William Gilburn his heirs and assigns from the fifth day of
April then last past for and during the natural lives of John Gilburne
and William Gilburn first and second sons of the said William Gilburne
and Margaret Gilburne Eldest daughter of the said William Gilburne
age fourteen years or thereabouts and the survivors and survivor
of them at the yearly rent of fifteen pounds ninteen [sic] shillings and six
pence sterling to be paid moietively on every tenth day of October and
every fifth day of April in which Lease are contained clauses of
distress and re-entry and other clauses usual between landlord
and tennant which said lease is signed and sealed by the said Wm
Pole and William Gilburn and witnessed by John Whitley of Iry
and Peter Whitley of Mtmelick both in the Queens County Gent and
this Mem'l is witnessed by the said Peter Whitley and Wm Leeming
of the city of Dublin Gent Wm Gilborne {seal} signed and sealed in
presence of Wm Leeming Petr Whitley. The above named
Peter Whitley this day made oath .....



Memorial Deed 210913

A Memorial of a deed dated the nineteenth day of Nov'r
one thousand seven hundred and seventy one whereby Mathew
Davis of Ballylusk parish of Clunnenagh & Queens County
transferred and made over unto Wm Gilborne his son in law as a
marriage portion with his daughter Frances Davis, one half of all his
lands and other movable effects which he the sd Wm Gilborne & his
lawfull issue was to enjoy during his the sd Mathew Davis's nat'l life
and after his decease the other half to go to sd Wm Gilborne aforesd with the
appur'ces which said deed is witnessed by Wm Smith and Robt Thompson both of
Mountrath in the Queens County aforesd Combers and by Rich'd Patner of New town
near Mountrath aforesd farmer and this mem'l is witnessed by the sd Wm Smith
and by Robt Thompson. Wm Gilborne {seal} signed & sealed in presence of
Wm Smith, Robt Thompson The above named Wm. Smith maketh oath...
