Welcome to the Black Family History web site!

This web site covers my Black family ancestors where the story starts with my great grandmother, Mary Jane Black who lived in England in the early twentieth century but who was born in North America around 1864-1865.

I am enjoying researching the BLACK branch of my family tree and in particular I am interested in my great great grandfather JAMES BLACK and his daughter my great grandmother MARY JANE BLACK.

I would be very pleased to hear from you if you have any further information about any of the ancestors or indeed if any amendments may be needed. I hope to add photos of some of the various places mentioned later.
