Apprentice to H J Kearns, Altrincham (see notes) Engineer/machine tool maker then Master printer.
In later years Mr Thomason, of Kearns was a great friend. EPB did printing for Kearns and any engineering that was needed for the printing business was done by Kearns.
Lived at 12 Cranford Avenue, Knutsford in 1925.
Later, Selworthy, 43 Cranford Avenue, Knutsford in 1928 or 1929,
Then, Edowby, 2 Tabley Grove, Knutsford from 1934.

MHB has a Hunter pocket watch which EPB bought from his brother Raymond at some time. Raymond had bought it new in about 1909.
