YOXALL FAMILY HISTORY

After leaving Cheshire, our Yoxall ancestors spent time in Staffordshire before moving north-west to Liverpool on the west coast of England.

There is a small village called Yoxall today in the county of Staffordshire which is about 35 miles south-east of the area where our Yoxall's spent time around Stoke on Trent. It is assumed that this village is the origin of the surname.
