In 1924, having been widowed since 1918, my grandmother Minnie Smith nee Bryan married Thomas Perry. Thomas was a bachelor and a Railway Goods Checker at the time of his marriage. Thomas was the son of another Thomas Perry who was a Cooper Journeyman and who had died before 1924. Thomas junior also had at least two sisters - Isabella who married Charles Kneale and Hannah, who married Charles Corkill.

Both Isabella and Hannah are buried at Malew Parish Cemetary in Isle of Man.

In 1938, Thomas Perry is recorded as being at 15 Madryn Street, Liverpool 8, England. This is the address where his wife Minnie was living as a widow until her own death in the early 1960s.
