The MDF building is sized and painted. Then a chimney and back of fire for the hearth was made, this
needed to be removeable to make it easier to build the fires and access the wiring for the fire bulbs.

Next, I employed Mr. Douglas and his paintbrush to apply the bricks for the fireback.
His rates are very reasonable..... a large pot of beef stew and a pint of Guinness!
