Gypsy Cute Critter Sanctuary.... Halloween.
The gypsy girls have an exciting last day of October!

Vicky ......made Scrappy as a gift. She also made 3 beautiful potion/ perfume bottles!
also made the framed pictures and the beautiful bottles! I am sure the silver one
contains a potion! and hand made birds (green budgie, blackbird, blue tit and finch)
and yellow budgie and necklace

Nanna Val..... hand painted and sent a watering can , a photo frame with Maxie in it ,
made Fifi the Poodle as a gift,sent Foxy Lady a painted jug and Saucy Squirrel. hay net,
raffia string-bedding, bail of straw , hedgehogs, badger,lamb, Goat , tortoises and
hand made tray!

Bambi......bought a lovely trinket box and inside is a gypsy crystal ball. Also a brass storm lamp
an oil lamp, a canal ware bucket and a milk churn (and a Gypsy story book for Gypsy Patty!) a gazebo.

Elayne and Elise.....For Elise's new caravan, Tiny the Yorkshire terrier, Pixie and Dixie the two kittens,
A tea cup, saucer and plate with Yorkies on them, a Gypsy caravan scene doggy blanket,
Quackers the Duck, Goldie the Mrs chicken ,Cluck the Mr Chicken ,Tarot cards,Bambi the Deer,
Pip and Squeak Mice, ,Cindy the guinea pig, Peanut the Squirrel
a papo shire horse,a lovely donkey, a lovely shire foal, highly detailed cow, 3 scarecrows
4 garden gnomes, bird box and a set of garden tools,
and a pair of wellies! great for wearing when mucking the stables out! A big thank you to the little bird who sent Lewis!;)

The haunting halloween! !

The girls are up and while feeding the critters Rosa-Su tells Elise about a dream she had last night.
"I had such a strange dream , I saw Pegleg Pete in the tavern and he was talking to John and Jack."
said Rosa -Su. "I wonder if it means anything?" Replied Elise.

"It is the Halloween party at the Tudor tavern tonight." said Elise.
Rosa-Su replied, "Yes, I am looking forward to it, everyone will be there and the Tudor dress
association will all be there too!"

Woody arrives to work on the shelter. "Good morning Girls" , Said Woody.
"Good morning Woody," replied the girls.

woody tells the girls he is going to repair a leak in the roof, then starts work on the shelter.

Elise watches Woody as he makes a repair to the roof.

"Here you are Woody, We have made some dinner for you!" Said Elise,

woody sat down and started eating. The girls and woody chat about the halloween party tonight at the tavern. Woody said, "There are tales about hauntings at the Tudor tavern at this time of year and
specially on Halloween. So be prepared." Elise replied, "Oh my! that sounds quite exciting! Doesn't it Rosa-Su?"
"Yes it does!Have you seen any ghostly figures Woody?" Said Rosa-su.
Woody replied, "No, but I have heard strange noises coming from the back of the tavern when I have been sat by the fire on cold dark evenings.............!"

It is late afternoon when Woody leaves.

The girls feed and settle the critters for the night.

Elise and Rosa-Su wait for Rudi and Lewis to arrive, then they are all going
to the Tavern for the evening.

Lew and Rudy arrive. "Come on girls, lets walk to the tavern, it is a lovely evening!" Said Lewis.

At the tavern they go through the side door.

The girls say hello to Mary. Mary says to Elise and Rosa-Su, "My Dad will be making a special announcement later tonight.
Meanwhile enjoy yourselves!"

Rudiand lewis hope the noise starts up ! They want to see a real life haunting!

Mary shouts. "My Father is going to make an announcement"....................everyone is now quiet and listening.

John stood up near the fire, mary by his side and Jack at the other side. John stood proudly and said, "This Tavern is now officially mine and Mary's! My brother Jack will brew an old family recipe of ale in the cellars
here and we shall start selling it at Christmas!" We need to think of a name for the ale................. Everyone cheered! ....Then suddenly there was a knocking noise coming from the fire area...... Eveyone went quiet..................

John said , "It is ok, every one strange noises come from the back of the tavern quite often ,
specially at this time of year nothing to wory about!"

The knocking gets louder and louder .............then a strange distant ghostly voice speaks!
"I am Pegleg Pete a distant ancestor of yours , I have been trying to tell you and the
generations before you , for many years about the chest of treasures I earned
throughout my life which I hid in a well behind the tavern.....
Everyone stared at the fire where the vouice was coming from...........

The ghost of Pegleg Pete appears , he looks at John and says, "Gypsy Elise and Gypsy Rosa-Su both
fortold clues of how to find the chest and now you have found it, bought this ancient tavern
and going to brew the old secret family recipe for ale my work is done!
John, Mary and Jack, you will never be without good friends and you will become very famous for the
fine ale you will brew."

John and everyone looked at Pegleg Pete in amazement............
John said to Pegleg Pete,"Will you not return and visit us at this time of year ever again?"
Pegleg Pete looking rather sad said, " No John,My work is done and I can't ever return.......unless I
am invited!" John felt sorry for Pegleg Pete gave him a tankard of ale and said, "Cheers my new friend.
Please drink with me!"
Pegleg Pete drank the ale and said, "Cheers and the happiest of Halloweens, John!"

John looked at Mary then at Elise and Rosa-Su and then said to Pegleg Pete..........

"Thank you John!" Said Pegleg Pete with a big smile on his face. "I shall see you here
every Halloween!"
Everyone present cheered and Pegleg said."Good bye my friends, I can now see you all next year!
I may even bring some friends!
Pegleg Pete then dissapeared......................
Everyone drinks a toast of prosperity and good health to John, Mary , John........and Pegleg Pete!

Everyone chatting buisily about what they had all just seen. Then Elise and Rosa-Su said goodnight to John and Mary and thanked them for the wonderful time
they had this Halloween evening

It is quite dark when they get back to the critter sanctuary.
