12th scale Gypsy Caravan
First of all, some shots of my caravan.

I think the original builder left it internally unfinished
and all it needs now is some love, attention, a coat of paint inside and out,
some fitted furniture, a stove and a bed to keep my Gypsy Rosa Lupin
and her little doggy warm and a bit more love!
As everyone knows, caravans are small and all the furnture is built in.
There are certain items I want to put into my caravan,
so I am going to make a stove, a bed with a canopy some shelves,
doors for the tall cupboards, a bench , a table, and an opening cupboard under the bed.
After building these Items, I am going to remove them to decorate inside an outside,
then finish off the items and fit them in.
Doing it this way, I shall have more room when I decorate!

The inside. I am going to remove some more of the fittings you see here.
To begin with, the false cupboards in the left pic and the false cupboard doors
in the right pic and make the windows slightly narrower
and enlarge the door frame to accept a bigger door.

These are the colours I shall use to decorate my caravan
..inside and outside ....and some gold paint along with other Humbrol paints.
The materials, fine velvet, a ladies shawl (from a charity shop) and braid
are for the soft furnishings inside, curtains, valance, bed coverings
and bed pelmet, cushions etc.........not yet sure about floor covering
but that can be done later on in the project.

Maxie, my little helper, technical advisor and sloppy wet kisser!
Maxies first suggestion was to make a stove and a bed, so that is in stage 2 next!
