SCULPTURE
I normally work in Denby clay, sometimes in terrcotta . Some work is then cast in plaster and maybe painted, some are fired and some of those survive !
St. Francis and St. Cecelia, a commission.
Several attempts at this pose ended in disaster but after many months work a complete, fired figure was achieved.
I found a new challenge at the Portland Stone and Quary Trust.....
....and a week of enjoyable hard work, with guidance from Hannah and Paul.
..a new model, a new challenge.
