Welcome to Globechatters
A MELTING POT OF THOUGHTS & IDEAS WITH FRIENDS AROUND THE WORLD
Globechatters is an e-mailing list formed in March 2000 for people with a purpose in International communication. This greeting reaches out to all who view our website. We extend a welcome and invitation to join us in this unique opportunity to develop mailing list text communication with every day courtesies. Please check out our links.
Our aim is to find friends with like minds via the keyboard. It's where people with liking for others all over the world meet to make friends. Communication skills are often hard to cultivate, but in front of a PC we are all equal and have the same challenges to face. We try and make things easy for all new members who join us from around the world, those with a genuine interest in people. We strive for a freedom in our mailings, observing day to day real life courtesies. We share day to day events, thoughts and ideas and there's a sense of fun in all our members. In a multi-national group such as ours misunderstandings can come easily so we have a rule that it can be accepted that we never knowingly say things to offend; we ask before assuming. It takes time to build on an idea like this and we hope to find more people who share our interests.
