This self-contained holiday accommodation comprises a two-story early 18th century cottage, which is attached to Whitfield House, a most attractive Queen Anne house, the second floor of which contains the bedrooms which are reached by a most interesting old staircase, leading direct from the first floor of the cottage. Both properties are listed as "buildings of special architectural and historic interest".
Wolsingham is an old country town, situated in the lower part of Weardale which is one of the North Pennine Dales. The North Pennines have been designated as an "Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty". Wolsingham is ideally situated for exploring the region's attractions.
This spacious self-catering accommodation is well furnished and decorated, sleeps seven plus a baby and is fully equipped to VisitBritain Standards, with a rating of THREE STAR.

Whitfield House is situated in the part of the town designated as a "Conservation Area" and it is conveniently placed for the town's shops and for walks in the local countryside. Facilities for fishing, golf, swimming and pony trekking are available in the locality. Wolsingham is located on the A689, with easy access to the A1(M).
