  • Daisy (age 4) is staying, as a visitor, with Frederick and Annie BRAY, at Dairy Cottage, near Sheffield Park Station
  • May (age 1) is staying with her her uncle and aunt, George and Caroline WILLIAMS at Blackhill Cottages, Lindfield. Caroline was from Danehill.

The register of children admitted to Danehill school shows that one of the children admitted that day was Owen Henry HILLS:

  • born 3 November 1897
  • father Charles HILLS
  • living at Ketches Farm.
His cousin, Victor HILLs, started school on the same day.

1907   Daisy HILLS appears in the Danehill school photo with other pupils and Miss Carpenter. Lucas (2001) p. 7.
    Charles Sharp Lived in 'back cottages' of the Sloop public house.
