This section of my site collects together some useful reference material related to e‑learning. I have used this information in the course of my studies (an MA in Open and Distance Education with the Open University) and my work.
I work as a Training Consultant. My recent work has focused on designing e‑learning for various U. K. Government departments.
I have worked for the Training and Learning Unit in Logica since 1996. We sell our services to Logica's customers, often supporting other parts of Logica as they roll out software solutions, change programmes etc.
I design a full range of training and reference materials ranging from simple paper‑based desk aids to e‑learning. I often take the lead in design work - both guiding other team members and ensuring work is delivered on time and to budget. Creating courses relies on my team working skills both within the Logica team and with the client to fully understand and meet their training requirements.
