Looking north towards Edenbridge. In the far distance is the outline of the North Downs.

Under the 1990 singling scheme, double track has been retained from here to Hurst Green. All that is needed to modernise this scene is some modern rolling stock.

Note how the signal box has been removed and the wall bricked up; at the same time the building has been enlarged with an extension at its southern end. However, the refurbished station building is no longer used for railway purposes. (Grid Ref. TQ 465 445)
