On 28 November, 2H unit 205012 leaves Crowborough on the penultimate stage of its journey to Uckfield, from where it will shortly return as the 12.00 Oxted service.

On the day in question, the train service was shared by this unit and a three car class 207, originally refurbished for use on the Hastings - Ashford line.

When the route was singled, this station was signalled so that trains could be turned back on the on this platform if required, rather than having to continue south to Buxted. However, this facility has not been used for any scheduled train services.(Grid Ref. TQ 533 298)
