At the time of this photograph, vegetation was gradually encroaching on the 'preserved' track in the foreground and the former signalbox in the middle distance was almost invisible!
Since then, many of the saplings have been cleared, but the location bears few traces of the busy country junction it once was. (Grid Ref. TQ 543 346)
