A mid-morning train enters Buxted. The 438 seats offered by this combination of two class 205 units would be more than sufficient for the handful of passengers on the train.

In fact, using two-unit trains such as this was a tactic designed to reduce the risk of stalling due to autumn wheelslip problems.
