Isfield - 1969

During the last few weeks of trains services in the late winter of 1968-69, a class 205 'Hampshire' DEMU pulls out of the station heading for Uckfield.

The station is substantially unchanged today, being in use by a small preservation group after a period of disuse lasting 15 years. Unlike 1969, however, all trains leaving Isfield come to a halt not far beyond the bridge in the background.
