Tunbridge Wells West - July 1992

By the summer of 1992, a station that could have played a valuable role in easing both road congestion and train operating problems at the town's remaining station had become a themed restaurant as part of a well-known chain.

Behind it, the former platforms and depot area had been redeveloped as a retail park.

Yet despite all of this, there is still just space to restore a single track route through the site, restoring Tunbridge Wells' link with Crowborough, Lewes and the coastal routes.
