Immediately beyond the tunnel is Tunbridge Wells station, with Tonbridge and the Kent rail network just a few minutes' travelling time away.

Will the story of the Eridge to Tunbridge Wells route end like this in rubble and undergrowth, or will the route return to its rightful role as part of the national rail network ... ?
