Jamie, lead singer with Marion, closed the band's mid-afternoon set on the Chelmsford Main Stage by leaping off the stage, through the photographer's pit and vaulting the crowd barrier into the sea of adoring female arms. Our man on the scene says security had a hard job extracating the possibly reluctant Jamie from his admirers and back on to the stage.
