The piece was almost finished when the title came to mind, but this music does prattle cheerfully just like lovable Lancelot, with freely varied recycling. It threatens to go on for ever, and has to be forcibly restrained (I think fade endings are a cop-out, but I suppose slamming the brakes on is not much better).
