Parties
We have found that parties offer the ideal introduction to swinging, especially if you aren't 100% sure that its for you. The parties that we attend are social functions downstairs, with 'action' upstairs. Newcomers can chat, and even watch, joining in only if and when they are totally happy. The only downside with parties are that it can be quite difficult walking in 'cold'. K & B are quite happy to take couples to parties and introduce them, swapping is not essential. Parties we are happy to recommend:- 1) Radlett - Held about once a month in a large house. Outdoor heated pool, three playrooms and a dungeon in the attic. This is a large party with loads of couples. Disco and buffet are included in the entry fee - but you must bring your own drinks. This is an ideal introuduction to newcomers. Dance, socialise, swim in the pool (if you can't swim, use your imagination!) and join in action if and when you are ready. Ring Richard on 01923 859043 for details. 2) Hitchin - Again held about once a month, these are smaller, more intimate affairs with about 20 couples. Buffet and soft drinks are included, but bring a bottle of your tipple. Debbie & Mark are excellent hosts, putting newcomers at their ease. There are three playrooms in this private house. Please Email Mark & Debbie for more information. 3) Stevenage - We recently attended a party in Stevenage hosted by Karen & Sean. This intimate affair was held in their private house with about 15 couples. A superb buffet and soft drinks were included. A "ladies only" room was provided between 10pm and Midnight which was very sucessful for the ladies! The evening was a success and Karen and Sean aim to repeat the evening, probably in about 6 weeks.
