Survival Skills doesn't only offer practical on-road training.

As a qualified e-tutor, Kevin has created the first distance learning e-Courses in the UK using upto-the-minute interactive online techniques. These e-courses are suitable for ALL riders from newly qualified to highly experienced!

Group Training in advanced techniques is also available for clubs and small groups of friends. Contact us for more details and a quotation for your needs.

Kevin is also available to give talks and presentations on any motorcycle safety issues or about riding skills in general, or to assess riders as part of company safety policy.

When we're not riding bikes, we're writing about riding. There's a regularly updated blog with news and views about training and riding in general, as well as " Doctor's Surgery" fixes for riding problems.

The site has a wide selection of advanced riding tips in the Motoskills section - cornering, braking and analysis of risk are just a few of the many topics covered - and Survival Skills publishes a series of books on riding skills, which are distributed as e-books on CDROM which you can use to "teach yourself":

"Course Notes" v3.0 - advanced riding skills in CDROM format for only £12.99. "simple and uncluttered advice".
"Getting Started" v1.0 - guidance on how to pass the bike test in CDROM format for only £12.99. "just what I wanted to know".
"Tarmac Tactics" v2.0 - practical riding techniques for surviving on today's roads in CDROM format.
"Fix your..." - a new series of short e-guides on particular riding issues - coming soon!

Survival Skills safety articles on advanced riding skills appear in every issue of 'The Road', the journal of the Motorcycle Action Group, and Survival Skills has contributed to safety features in 'Ride' and 'Two Wheels Only' magazines.

Our articles have been syndicated to appear in a dozen different Institute of Advanced Motorcyclists group magazines, club magazine from Canada, USA, Australia, New Zealand and Namibia, and the Survival Skills web site and Riding Skills section is linked to web sites from all over the world.
