Window in Wolverhampton Art Gallery and Museum

In 1996 Sarah James won a competition in which the public selected her design for a window in preference to 5 others. Having won, she was commissioned to undertake the manufacture and installation. The window was ceremonially 'opened' in May1997. It can be viewed at the art gallery during normal opening hours.

The overall size of the window is approximately 3.5m by 1.5m.

Sarah James has undertaken window design work more recently and is willing to consider further commissions.
