Sangam is a Hindi word for the confluence of two rivers and so means meeting or integration. This is why the name was chosen for a development aiming to bring together insights from traditional Indian education with the best of western educational practice, integrating children from different backgrounds.

Sangam School is a project of the 'Sangam Foundation, Sohna (Gurgaon)', a voluntary charitable educational society registered (No 720 of 1993-94) under the 'Societies Registration Act XXI, 1860' .

The Sangam Foundation was formed in 1982 and registered as a Society in Delhi on 9th December 1982, and in Gurgaon, Haryana on 13th August 1993. For more details see the pages on 'The School' and 'The Vision'.

The registered address for the Foundation and the School is
Sangam Foundation,
Sangam School, Indri, District Mewat, Haryana, India.
