Hee hee I'm a tease ... Let me just say my camera worked overtime and only 4 cars finished... Follow ins an crushes were all over the place , it was great and made up for the heats :) 294 William Scott was victorious , then TMK had three finishers .. 149 Paul(I'm happier now) Gore , 292 Stephen (two heads) Greenwood with 449 Mark (do I get a Happy meal now) Thomas as the rear gunner... The Banger Mechanics race had 10 starters , the Final had been more like the DD, and only two finished that, 352 Nick Hird made a valiant attempt to get going after suffering a nasty rear impact.. all he did was give a demo on smoke signals , it was quiet amusing :)) 188 Chris Burgess' car won , made up for a not so good day ... 506 Jason Davies in a remarkably looking undamaged car got second (and if I was cruel I could say last place) . 143 Sam Begley (a fan of my site) told me that his car (an estate) would die after any impact to its rear... So he put it in the DD like you do :)... Not long into the DD we were left with just two cars ... And Sam's was one of em.. The other the Invader of Jason Davies... Now it was a long DD as the cars gave us a demo of racing like those cycles at the Olympics (is it pursuit) where one has to catch the other , Jason even gave us the full look of the cycle race by driving up the outer wall , on many occasions... Eventually Sam turned his car round , but it died and Jason was given the win ( I assume) ... It was .... erm what it was :)) |
