The consolidation race , more like a DD , had 22 Starters , inc. the Yank , and only 2 finished , not inc. the Yank :)) 149 was given the win , after 69 Mark Bass was deemed to have cut through to avoid a massive pile up on the bend (again :)) the pile up not Mark nipping thro !!) Deano was removed from the race by 149 Paul Gore earlier , and was loaded up for following in.. Dean told me that the car he was driving had been raced  before and the brakes were a little ropey , so when he was
behind the car he followed in , he couldn't slow down ...  so that was that .. He wasn't bitter (like the Muphys) . 41 Dan Steele lost his front wheel after being stuffed into the wall at the start of the Final ,352 Nick Hird being the other party in the incident , Dan still managed to drive around nipping off a few other cars as he went . 666 Andy Pennington caused a car to roll , while Andy was watching from the side !! Andy's abandoned car was hit by 359 ,who duly and slowly rolled onto his side , and stayed there the rest of the race... The car not the driver !!! Hee hee hee... 175 John Harwood crossed the line first , but was placed second because of (you guessed it) taking a short cut !! The win given to 316 Jason Ollerenshaw and 690 Peter Richardson getting third... 21 cars for the banger mechanics... another Massive build up of cars on the far corner and the incident with Alan that I have covered earlier.. No result given , that I know off and the race abandoned.. The DD and 15 cars inc. that Yank again.. Sadly the Yank didn't seem to do too well and the field was quickly  desiccated down to two cars , 175 John Harwood and 508 (a day driver) . A nice head on then some bumping and boring until 175 was declared the winner... and that was as we say ... That !!!!  OR WAS IT !!!!!  No we had a Ladies Race today !!! The delayed
Championship race from two meetings ago - 6 Starters (the Minimum allowed) - and a fairly event free race... The driver of 316 was miffed that her car died before getting onto the track !!  The sheild went to 242 Jill Farrington (a regular visitor to my site :)) Nice to see the ladies get a race tho.. Will they race on the 10 Th ???? We'll have to wait and see..
Next time its Silver Wheels NON FORD meeting !!!!!    Another excellent meeting to watch.. 10th Sept. 1 PM Be there !!
