Power procedure to calculate the probability of finding a pre-specified difference (delta) given a certain alpha (error 1) level and sample size. Works for comparing two independent samples, one sample against a fixed value or parameter and for correlated or paired samples. It is also possible to calculate the power for an equality analysis. Useful for the analysis of randomized trials (RCT).
