Charges

A deposit of £10 is required when leaving the item for repair. Basic charge for repair (including overhaul): up to 15 inch - £40 Inc minor parts (if required), 17inch- £50 Inc minor parts (if required), 19 inch & above -£60 plus parts (if required). For repairs requiring parts over £10 in value an estimate will be given, if the estimate is rejected or the item is unrepairable, the deposit will be forfeited (carriage will also be charged if applicable).

Payment

Cheque/cash on delivery or on collection after the item is repaired (Sterling or Euro at our exchange rate). If a carrier is used, payment must be made in advance.

Conditions

All work is guaranteed for three months from the invoice date, this applies to all parts changed when the monitors were repaired.

The guarantee does not cover any new faults or faults that were not apparent when the monitors were repaired, even though the symptoms may be similar to the original fault.

In the event of no fault appearing when the units are tested, the deposit will be forfeited (carriage will also be charged if app.)

If it is considered necessary by the fault symptoms reported or observed, a internal test/examination will be made, during which any suspect connections will be repaired and any suspect components will be changed (normal charges as above will then apply).

In the event of an intermittent fault or a fault disappearing during the above, no guarantee can be made that the fault will be rectified.

If further work is required on the intermittent fault, even within the three months, a further full fee will be charged (for additional work).

The guarantee does not cover collection/delivery charges.

All replacement parts used are, as far as possible, "computer grade". The units are not subject to a certified "P.A.T. Test", (portable appliance safety test).

It is expected that this has been done and will be done by a competent electrician (as required by the Health and Safety at Work Regulations Act).

A certified "P.A.T. Test" is available for an additional fee of £5 at the time of repair.
