Stereogram viewer

This was done as part of my Communications and Cryptography course, to help people who have difficulty seeing stereograms to see them.

Instructions

Move the mouse inside the applet (the white rectangle).
Press <return>, to reset the applet.
Move your eyes toward the screen, until you can't focus properly on the squares. At some point, an optical illusion of a third square should appear.
Focus on the middle square, and slowly move away from the screen, until you can focus on it comfortably.
If everything has gone well, the square will appear to be on two different levels. (You'll understand when you see it).
At this point, you are seeing what is known as a stereo pair.
Concentrating on the two-level effect, press the <space> key. The full image will be shown.

Today's stereogram is of the Greek letter pi.
