These few pages (web cards) showing our direct ancestors are based on
a Reunion genealogy file containing over 2000 names. Many of these were
originally collected and assembled into a family tree on (large pieces of) paper during
the 1960s by Robert Murray Thomas of Santa Barbara, James Edward Carson
of Denver, and Rowland's father Robert James Carson of Ballymoney.
Since then many other family members have helped Rowland to collect further data. The latest complete file is available to family members on request, in Reunion, GEDCOM, and HTML (web card) formats, and new or corrected information is always welcome. Some pictures are being added, as resources permit. Click on any thumbnail-size picture beside a name to see a larger picture with a caption. Although none of Rowland's direct ancestors are buried in Ballymoney Old Church Graveyard, he has found Dorothy Arthur's book on the graveyard a wonderful reference and would recommend it to anyone researching Ballymoney ancestors or history. |
