Fitting fuel valve mount: 2009-02-17
Nikon Coolpix 8400
The glass-reinforced plywood mount for the fuel valve has previously been epoxied into position, and now BID flanges have been laid up on each side and both faces to support those joints properly. The layups are covered with peel-ply. A block of wood covered with polyethylene sheet is clamped in place to prevent the layups from encroaching onto the central area where the valve must fit flush against the mounting plate.
