Filing CS07/CS08 corners: 2008-10-07
Nikon Coolpix 8400
Here's a CS07/CS08 assembly with the top left corner filed down for better clearance from the fuselage floor. As you can see by comparison with the top right corner, it's a very small change, but any improvement here is worth making because space is so tight there. The Tufnol bearing is covered with tissue to help keep swarf out of it. I vacuumed before and during the removal of the tissue to further minimise the risk.
