Robert Smith with his wife Euphemia nee Milne and four of their children were living at 29-31 Woolmanhill, Aberdeen in 1861, having previously lived at Mannofield which is west of the city. By this date, Robert Smith had become a Railway Carter and we know from his daughter Euphemia's marriage in 1868 that he worked for the Caledonian Railway.
Woolmanhill is in the centre of Aberdeen and runs north-south.
