In 1861 Jane Smith born 1846 at Mannofield, the daughter of Robert Smith and Euphemia (nee Milne) was living at 142 George Street as a domestic servant of Janet Milne. In 1851 Jane had been living at Mannofield Inn with her parents.

Number 142 George Street no longer exists and its location appears to be within the John Lewis store on George Street in the centre of Aberdeen.
