Robert Smith (a railway porter) with his wife Euphemia (nee Milne) were living at 40 Blackfriars Street, Aberdeen with three of their children and one grandchild in 1871.

Blackfriars Street is just a little south-east of Woolmanhill where they had previously lived and is right in the centre of Aberdeen.
