My great grandfather, George Milne Smith was a Marine Enginerr who was born in Aberdeen, Scotland on 25 January 1859. He moved to Liverpool, England between 1881 and January 1885 when he married there. He was one of at least four children of my great great grandfather, Robert Smith and Euphemia Milne (from Kincardine O'Neil). Robert Smith was born around 1822 and was from Foveran, Aberdeenshire. Robert and Euphemia were married at Mannofield, Aberdeen on 7 March 1844. In 1881, Robert and Euphemia were living in Craigie Street in the centre of Aberdeen. When Euphemia died in 1901, their address was at nearby 49 Springbank Terrace. Robert was a Caledonian Railway Servant and died 25 May 1905 when his address was 317 Hardgate, Aberdeen.
