Census Notes
The 1871 and 1881 censuses both give William Henry a birth year of about 1857. In 1871 the family was living at 25 Tamworth Street while in 1881 they were living at 309 Beaufort Street. The 1901 census gives a birth year of about 1863 when living at 193 Upper Mann Street.

Other Events
When his daughter Sarah Randale Halsall was married in 1920, the address given was 187 Beaufort Street.

General Notes
William Henry's birth record could not be found in England (1856 to 1860). It is understood from his children and Halsall grandchildren that he was Manx born and he may have been born at Abbeylands, Isle of Man. It was mentioned that he had been well off and had been in the cotton business but was also a gambler and lost everything. He had a house in Liverpool 8.
