Macduff Isn't life wonderful? Everything's coming up roses.
Wendy Did we not sing that last year?
Macduff Oh, right enough. But I feel like singing anyway.

As they sing, the stage darkens slowly, leaving them in the spotlight. The green curtains close behind them, giving the stage crew time to change the scenery.
