This is me flying in Italy. A bunch of us went out there as the unofficial Scottish Hang Gliding Team for the Open competition at Monte Cucco in July 1991. This picture was taken on the first practice day.
The good thing about this hill is you can drive right to the takeoff point and only need to carry the glider a few feet. During the competition there was even a van selling cups of tea and burgers.
On this occasion I went straight down and didn't even make it to the landing field. Did better the next day, though.
