This is me flying at Glencoe. I used the chairlift to get most of the way up the hill, then carried the glider the last half mile. On this occasion, I was able to get into lift and climbed to 6000' before setting off south. The wind changed direction just after I took off, so I ended up turning round at the horseshoe viaduct near Bridge of Orchy and coming back again.

Unfortunately I had to leave the lift as it was drifting out over Rannoch Moor (the vast expanse of emptiness in the background). Eventually I landed next to the main road. Total distance travelled - 27.5 km. Two hours in the air.
