These are frames from a video taken with my low light camera, seen below, with a piece of exposed 35mm film between the lens and the CCD sensor to cut out the visible light. The CCD is sensitive to near infra red, which vegetation seems to reflect strongly. The camera can't pick up heat signatures as that is another part of the IR spectrum. However it gives a freaky effect, which is nice. The second picture has false colour added in Photoshop Elements; white becomes green and black becomes blue.
For comparison, the picture below was taken with an ordinary camera and converted to black and white.
