This picture was taken with a 28mm wide angle lens wide open at f/2.8, and shows part of the Milky Way. The exposure time was 5 minutes.
Just about visible is the North America nebula, NGC 7000, so called because that's what it looks like. On the right is a close-up from another picture taken with a 90mm lens.
