In summer 1997 we sailed to Moscow and believe we were the first
foreign yacht to do so. In 1998 we re-circumnavigated Britain, this time
including Ireland. In 1999 we sailed to Savonlinna in Finland transiting the
Saimaa canal, and visited St. Petersburg and Petrozavodsk by train to update
our knowlege of cruising in Russia. In 2000 we cruised through Russia to the
White Sea and rounded North Cape to winter in Narvik, continuing in 2001 to
Sweden, wintering in Rönnäng. In 2002 we went North again to Oslo and
the Telemark Canal returning to Rönnäng. In 2003 we left
Rönnäng to begin our return home exploring Denmark on the way. We
have left Babaji in Cuxhaven to return next Spring (2004)
