Sampson Low, Marston, Searle, & Rivington, 1882. 7¾" x 5¼", 276pp, brown cloth, hardback. Index. Illustrated throughout with monochrome drawings. The sections are stapled and the whole glued (no stitching), the staples have rusted and the glue failed, consequently the binding is only held together by, basically, a little rust, so it would be best to regard the book as disbound as it would be given a slight shaking; spine sunned; foxing at ends; however the contents are in good, clean useable condition.

Robertson, J. S. - The Life of David Livingston. Walter Scott, 1884. 7½" x 5", 320pp plus 8 plates, full brown cloth blocked in black and gold, hardback. All edges gilt. Illustrated with monochrome drawings. The spine is somewhat sunned and worn at the head and foot, edge wear, internal back hinge weak/split, internal front hinge weak, one side of the free-endpapers is browned, slight wear/marking to boards, slight foxing here and there, good, no wrapper.

Spine sunned; slight cover marks; slight edge-wear; name and date written on front-free endpaper; very good minus (not ex-library), no wrapper.

Roosevelt, Theodore - Ranch Life and The Hunting Trail. T. Fisher Unwin (London), ND, ins. 188? (8 I think), assumed 1st. 12½" x 9½", 198pp, green cloth with gold and black blocking, hb. Top-edge gilt. Illustrated with fine monochrome drawings by Frederic Remington. The boards are warped and quite dull, internal hinges weak/split, endpapers fragile, however the contents are fine, no wrapper. Below average externally, above average internally. Wonderful illustrations of the American West.

Monochrome frontispiece. Slightly sunned spine; slight edge-foxing; faint mark on fore-edge (thumb-top sized); pencilled name in top-front corner of verso of frontispiece; very good, tight, solid copy, no wrapper; probably unread.
