Packed with toned monochrome photograuvre photographs. Includes beautiful full-page coloured/toned (what appears to be monochrome photographs professionally coloured/toned) back to back photographs of Katharine Hepburn/Spencer Tracy, Alice Faye/Conrad Veidt, Elizabeth Bergner/John Barrymore, Ann Harding/Bing Crosby, Anna Sten/Cary Grant, Jean Parker/Wallace Berry, Madge Evans/Herbert Marshall, Helen Hayes/Leslie Howard, Charles Laughton/Betty Balfour, Warner Baxter/Greta Garbo, Francis Lederer, Margaret Sullaven, Jack Buchanan/Janet Gaynor, Tom Walls/Myrna Loy, Maurice Chevalier/Marlene Dietrich, Fredric March/Jean Muir, Demund Lowe/Jack Hulbert, Jessie Mathews/William Powell, Cicely Courtneidge/Ramon Navarro, Evelyn Laye/Lionel Barrymore, Joan Crawford*/Robert Montgomery, Caroll Lombard/Clark Gable, Claudette Coblert*/Warren Williams, Constance Bennett*/James Cagney, Pat Paterson*/Marion Davies. Spine taped with brown tape, corners and edges worn, boards rubbed, internal hinges weak/split, scribble on endpapers, stars and films list ticked, one or two monochrome illustrations also defaced in the same manner as the coloured illustrations (orange/red crayon) mentioned above, however internally near fine in general, no wrapper. A source of some superb subjects for framing.

Very good complete with poor wrapper that has about half missing.
