National - A Collection of Distinction. Daily Telegraph/National Gallery, London, 1993. A set of 6 high-quality colour prints comprising: 'The Gare St-Lazare' and 'The Water-Lilly Pond' by Claude Monet. 'Boating on the Seine' by Pierre-Auguste Renoir. 'Summer's Day' by Berthe Morisot. 'Bathers at Asnieres' by Georges Seurat. 'A Wheatfield, with Cypresses' by Vincent van Gogh. Other than 'The Water-Lilly Pond' which is portrait (15¾" x 12¼"), the other prints are landscape (12¼" x 15¾"). Each has a white border, is captioned and has a copyright notice at the extreme foot. The folder has a short note on the picture and artist on the back. Edge-wear to folder; very slight 'thumb-squash' to lower-edge of plates; fine.

National - National Gallery, Millbank, Illustrated Guide, British School. Robert Maclehose, 1925. 9¾" x 6¼", 166pp, paperback. Index. Printed on 'art' paper. Illustrated in monochrome. Spine sunned and with some wear including a 1" split at foot/front-cover; uneven sunning to back-cover; name written in top-front corner of front-free endpaper; some foxing/browning to endpapers; slight edge-foxing; good (not ex-library, practically no corner-curling).

Previous owners name written in top-front corner of front-free endpaper, slight remnants of sellopate marks on both paste-downs (probably held wrapper in place?), o/w fine, no wrapper. Average.
