Margaret Beauchamp (1410 - 1463)

Margaret Beauchamp was the grandmother of Henry VII, and married an ancestor of the John St John who donated this window.  He first husband, Oliver St John, died in 1437, and his rich young widow soon married again, this time to John Beaufort, First Duke of Somerset (d. 1444).  By him she became the mother of Lady Margaret Beaufort, Countess of Richmond and Derby, foundress of St John's and Christ's Colleges, Cambridge and grandmother of the future king.  She died in 1463.
